This Privacy Policy forms part of the ClosingDealz Terms of Service. It explains how CDZ Solutions AB (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, processes, stores, and shares personal information when operating the ClosingDealz platform and AI Chatbot Widget.
By using ClosingDealz Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to operate and improve ClosingDealz, including:
2.1 Account Information
This includes your name, email, organization name, and any details you voluntarily provide when registering.
2.2 Billing Data
Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card details, but we store transaction metadata such as:
amounts paid
purchase timestamps
subscription status
2.3 Lead and CRM Data
Clients may import or manually enter leads, contacts, companies, notes, activities, emails, and deal information. This data is stored only for the purpose of enabling the CRM features and is not shared externally.
2.4 AI Chatbot Widget Data
When an End-User interacts with a Client’s AI Chatbot Widget, we process:
message content (conversation text)
metadata (timestamps, device type, session identifiers)
optional fields prompted by the Client (name, email, phone, company, etc.)
This data is processed on behalf of the Client to:
generate AI responses;
create CRM records (leads, deals, notes, activities);
provide analytics and performance reporting;
enhance security, reliability, and user experience.
2.5 Google User Data
When you connect Google integrations (Calendar, Tasks, Identity), we access only the minimum required scopes for event sync, account identification, and authentication.
3. AI Chatbot Widget – Controller & Processor Roles
For data collected through the AI Chatbot Widget:
The Client is the Data Controller.
ClosingDealz is the Data Processor.
Clients decide what data is collected and must ensure all required notices, consents, and legal bases are obtained from End-Users.
ClosingDealz provides a standard privacy notice within the widget but this does not replace the Client’s legal obligation to disclose their own processing activities.
4. How We Use Your Information
We may use personal information to:
operate and improve the Service;
authenticate users and manage accounts;
sync events with Google Calendar and Tasks;
provide customer support;
maintain security and prevent abuse;
5. Lawful Basis for Processing
We rely on the following bases:
Consent – for optional integrations or marketing communications.
Contractual necessity – to deliver the Service.
Legitimate interests – for security, analytics, and Service improvement.
6. How We Store and Protect Data
We use industry-standard encryption, access controls, and security practices to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure, but we implement strong safeguards and notify users in the event of a data breach when legally required.
Google Token Storage
We store encrypted tokens for Google integrations (AES-encrypted at rest). You can revoke authorization at any time via your Google Account.
7. Logs and Cookies
We collect logs (IP, user agent, browser) and cookies for session management, personalization, and analytics.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data. Requests relating to data collected via a Client’s Chatbot Widget must be directed to that Client (the Data Controller).
9. Children’s Privacy
ClosingDealz does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
10. Complaints
You may lodge complaints with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data has been mishandled.
