Create Online Booking Forms
Create an online booking form that shows calendar availability, collects lead details, schedules a meeting, and stores the submission in ClosingDealz.
Overview
A ClosingDealz booking form combines appointment scheduling and website lead capture in one embedded flow. A visitor selects an available time, completes your configured fields, and submits the form. ClosingDealz then schedules the meeting and creates or updates the lead record.
Use a booking form for discovery calls, consultations, demos, estimates, or other meetings where the visitor should choose a time without leaving the page.
How the Booking Flow Works
1. The visitor selects a time
Available slots are calculated from weekly availability, connected-calendar conflicts, meeting duration, minimum notice, daily limits, time-slot increments, buffers, booking-window limits, holidays, and custom unavailable dates.
2. The visitor submits their details
After selecting a slot, the visitor completes the fields you added. A successful submission schedules the meeting and stores the submitted values with the lead.
Configure Meeting Settings
- Meeting duration: length of each appointment.
- Meeting location: a physical location, phone call, URL, or supported video meeting.
- Assigned meeting user: team member who owns the meeting.
- Minimum notice: shortest allowed time before a booking.
- Maximum meetings per day: daily cap for the booking experience.
- Time-slot increment: interval between offered start times.
- Buffer before and after: unavailable time surrounding a meeting.
- Booking window: how far into the future a visitor can book.
If video meeting creation is enabled, a supported meeting link can be attached to the scheduled activity.
Configure Availability
Set one or more available time ranges for each working day. ClosingDealz combines these ranges with busy internal meetings, connected Google Calendar events marked Busy, holidays, custom unavailable dates, and the meeting settings above.
Follow Calendar Settings to configure and test the complete availability calculation.
Add Booking Form Fields
Booking forms support the standard fields described in the Forms documentation, including first name, last name, email, phone number, and owner-defined custom fields. Custom answer types include one-line text, multiple-line text, dropdowns, radio buttons, and checkboxes.
Keep the form focused on information needed before the meeting. Every extra required field adds friction.
Embed and Test the Booking Form
- Create and configure the booking form.
- Copy its embed code.
- Paste the code into your website.
- Publish the page.
- Test the flow in another browser.
- Confirm the selected time is blocked and the lead contains the submitted fields.
Test on mobile as well as desktop, and test a busy-time conflict before sending traffic to the page.
Review Booking Analytics
Booking-form reporting can include impressions, bookings, conversion rate, leads generated, deals created, closed-deal value, and lost-deal value. Use the results to compare page placement, field count, offer clarity, and available time slots. See the Sales Analytics Overview for related reporting.
